Three sets of PipeLOK-16-005‘s sealed the pipeline and provided a controlled removal of high-mercury content, contaminated water.
The PipeLOK-16-005 recovered each pipeline to deck.
After an impressionably successful campaign, Chevron have repurposed the tool for their removal support of topside, jacket and pipeline removal campaign with Mermaid Group, also in the Gulf of Thailand.
